You are looking at a 1953 Chervrolet 3100 pickup truck. Vehicle is from this area and was originally fitted with a rack for a metal company then was sold locally and used as a farm truck until I bought it as our shop truck 8 years ago. It originally had a straight six that ran for two years until the motor gave out after which we upgraded the following:
New disc brakes up front, new shocks/tires and master cylinder was upgraded to heavy duty model and moved to the frame rail w/access door in floorboard.
Installed freshly rebuilt 350 out of a Camaro and added a Demon four barrel carb; swapped out for an aluminum radiator, electric fan, electric fuel pump and mechanical water pump.
Upgraded the transmission to a 5-speed out of a Colorado pickup and upgraded the rear end to handle the power.
Custom headers, dual exhaust with old school Cherry Bombs
Installed painless wiring kit as well as MSD Ignition.
Lights, turn signals work and gauges were transferred to the lower dash.
New glass and new rubber seals all around.
Left interior and exterior untouched with exception of painting our old company logo on both doors.
Beautiful truck that runs outstanding and drives well; I have really enjoyed owning it.
