I have owned this vehicle for about 3 years and have done extensive work to it and drive it daily. Not by choice, health forces this sale.
Here is a brief overview of work performed & installed components:- 2016 Chevrolet LT1 6.2L (376ci) Gen 5 direct injected motor. Total miles on motor and trans is less than 5000 miles.- 8L90 automatic transmission- Ford 9" rear end (new inside & out). Trac-Loc Posi, Motive Performance Gears, 31 spline. The above list of replaced components is extensive and top of the line for respective performance area. The car performs equally well. Well over $65k spent in parts & labor (work done by well known local builder). Selling for considerably less.
Estimated crank HP is 550+ (mild tune, headers, E85, CAI, exhaust). No internal mods to engine. You can cruise on the highway at 70 mph and only be at 2000 rpms. Hit the throttle at any speed and you feel the high-displacement, modern, powerful direct injected motor move the Chevelle forward in seemingly endless fashion! It is an absolute rush to drive. No performance disappointments here. You can run the car on regular gas or E85.
The paint is fair at best. It is faded in some areas. Paint up close is not as good as it looks in the photos. Aside from dings, dents and scratches, there are no obvious areas of concern on the body.For me this was a daily driver and still is. I receive a thumbs up virtually anywhere I go, every day. The curb appeal is stunning!
