Description

I have a 1971 Chevy Short bed truck. All factory. No cut frame here. This truck is from Georgia and is in absolutely mint rust free condition. Has factory A/C which is extremely rare. Truck has been taken down to bare metal. All the metal has been reworked and painted silver. All PPG products. Needs a couple of touch ups from sitting. Has a couple of small scratches on it. Motor and transmission came out of a 2008 Escalade with only 40,000 miles on it. Swap was done professionally by a Chevy dealership. Trucks runs with no issues. You will just need to add the the A/C lines and an external electric fan for radiator which I have. Just needs to be installed. The entire interior is dismantled but I have everything for it to go back together. All original stuff. So you may want to buy new items for interior. I have new rear chrome bumper.
Come with the entire plug and play system from Dakota Digital. Excluding new dash instruments.
Also come with all new A/C vents and interior knobs for dash

This truck is in a perfect situation where you can customize it yourself. All the hard mechanical is done. Once done this truck will be worth $45-50k. I calculated that it only needs about $4-5k of parts to finish in new condition. For additional cost. I can help repaint the truck if needed.
I’m selling this truck because we are starting a new business and we could use the cash. The business is going to take so much of my time that I won’t be able to finish this truck anytime soon. Please email or call me if you have any questions what’s so ever. This will be an awesome truck once she’s done.
This truck will come vin and titled as a 1970. But it is a 1971 because it has factory front disk brakes. 1971 was the year they first did that. The reason of why it’s titled as a 1970 was because the person in GA I bought it from didn’t have a title. In GA they didn’t need titles for these years. But of course Colorado needed a title so it was easier to buy a junk yard title and vin plate. So depending on your state it can be registered as the original vin 1971 or you can use the new vin plate and title.
I can help transport on a flat bed for additional price.
