1974 Corvette convertible L-82 white with black top, automatic
Description
I started the restoration project on this 1974 Corvette L-82 convertible. This is a complete numbers matching car. I obtained this form a local owner that had it sitting in his garage since roughly 1982 with hopes ofrepairing thefiberglass. A unique car that is gaining traction as far as desirability. Basically in 1973 and 1974 the L-82 was a slightly de-tuned LT-1 from the prior years. These L-82's had forged steel crankshafts, Chevy "pink" rods, forged pistons, 2.02 intake valves, finned aluminum valve covers and a functional cowl induction hood. This car was white originally with a black convertible top and automatic transmission. The front clip is off due to a slight accident...I have all parts needed for the most part to complete repair and assembly. Birdcage is in perfect shape. I removed the body from the frame (absolutely perfect frame with NO rust whatsoever), had the frame powder coated, rebuilt the differential and positraction unit with new ring and pinion, rebuilt the half shafts and all new u-joints, rebuilt the trailing arms and bearing assemblies, rebuilt the front suspensionand all components, rebuilt the steering components, all new brakes and calipers, new In-Line Tube (OEM style) brake and fuel lines, engine rebuilt from localperformance shop to stock specs (I have all paperwork and documentation.I can supply more pictures upon request.
In summary all that needs to becompleted is the paint, body purchase of rear rubber bumper (original kinda fellapart as they all losetheir flexibility and crack) and interior re-assembly. Obviously the engine andtransmission are out of the car and need to be re-installed.
Note - Shipping is not included, buyer will need to arrange. I will help load and coordinate at no cost to buyer.
