Gorgeous 1959 El Camino! The paint is shiny and looks goodThe car is complete - everything is there! Interior was redone 10 years ago with new carpetThe car starts and runs great everything was rebuilt starting with paint and body work over 20 years ago, which the paint is about 15 years old. I am the third owner, 2nd owner did nothing with the car.
When I restored the car all glass and trim was removed new rubber trim and felt strips were replaced. The side glass and vent were new front and back windshields are original, Front glass lamentis starting to separate. Rust free body, I picked up a nice rear glass which will go with the car.It has factory Am radio keeps fading off stations, Needs Heater switch, I replaced blower motor with new, but switch stopped workingThe Chrome is in good shape without any rust or anything on it!I never re chromed the bumpers, they should be redone. The lower part of quarters were replaced back then with new replacements. The back floor behind the seat was replaced before I got it, Has recent new dual exhaust system with headers and flow master mufflers. The brake are original DrumBrakes all new linings wheel cylinders and master cylinder, Its been kept in Garage most of the time I had it, about 25 years. If I were to keep it longer I would put front disc brakes on it. I put late model power steering in it Saginaw box with Delco power steering pump, also after market CPP Tilt steering column. Over all its a great running truck, for show quality it would need new paint job,
