1955 chevy pickup truck

1955 chevy swb truck. This is a perfect candidate for the rat, unrestored look. it has 40+ years of weathered paint to give it a unique patina. The body is pretty good for it's age. It doesn't have any rot through or anything that would need to be repaired unless you were planning to restore. The steps and cab are in good shape, the floor pans are good as well as the upper cab. It has a cab corner that was repaired at some point, you can see it on the drivers side. The passenger cab corner has a little bit of rust but isn't rotted away. The bed is in great condition as you can see in the pics. The original wood floor is underneath the piece of steel that in there. It only has a few welds, it wouldn't be a lot of trouble to remove. All of the glass is in place and isn't cracked but the windshield does have a couple of chips in it.
It has a chevy 283 engine currently in it and the original 3 speed trans., it does run and drive but I have only been on short trips, it would need a little tuning on to be considered dependable. It does have good brakes and drives down the road straight.
I do have the original bench seat but it will need refurbishing to use it. The interior is pretty much what you see, it's complete and not hacked up but nothing fancy.
This truck is a fun little project and has tons of potential but it is what you see, expect an unrestored 55 chevy if you purchase it. It is being sold with a Georgia bill of sale, Georgia will not reissue a title on a truck this old. Please do your research and make sure that you are good with that. Please be prepared to buy if you are high bidder. This is an auction and the high bid is the price, it's not negotiable. Final payment will be expected as cash, bank check or a bank wire. Most guys understand this but I want to be clear about it.
