Description
Chevrolet Silverado 3500 dually that I bought from the original owner (state trooper) in KY. This truck was left alone and had a good life with no pulling or any work whatsoever. As is customary with my vehicles, I asked my mechanic to change anything that was needed or was going to be needed in the future, namely here is the work that I can remember:
-new radiator, front end redone, new injector pump, new turbo, new AGM batteries, new tires, new marker lights, new door latches, new heater fan switch, new brakes.
The work that is left to do in order to make it perfect:
-paint job (when I buy a classic truck I would rather have the original paint since you can see if there's any rust), headliner needs to be redone, the AC needs work and the radio speakers don't work but radio and cassette player work fine.
The motor is super crisp and runs strong. The whole truck is very tight and it shows that it wasn't driven a lot.I'm selling some of my toys because I bought a sailboat (ouch). It cost me around 5-6K just in upgrades and regular maintenance on this truck so rest assured you are getting a top shape truck that will last a lifetime. I had two of these and the other one sold this summer on eBay and the buyer is now my friend and still checks in with me to tell me about his truck! No joke :)I'll never sell junk, my reputation is more important. You're getting my hand picked personal truck (I'm obviously a chevy guy) and I always loved the look of the 2 door dually. I never cared that it wasn't 4WD since I just love this power train and the looks of the CK dually body, etc. Clean NY title of course.
Good luck! Just check out my other listing and you'll understand that I take my vehicles seriously. You can call me with any questions: 347.454.4099 Michael.
