Description

SELLING A 1954 CHEVY 3800 TRUCK NO RESERVE!!!!9FT BEDDEALER INSTALLED 2 POINT BED HOIST5 WINDOW CABRUNS AND DRIVESGOOD CLEAN NEBRASKA TITLE IN MY NAME AND UPDATED
Pictures do the talking, very respectable ole project truck, harder to find a factory 9ft dump bed...I just purchased the truck less than a month ago on a deal from a buddy.. got it home cleaned it up a bit, got it running and driving, and letting it fly selling no reserve...
as you can see the truck has pretty good bones, the only real rust repair is the front floor pans, and a little in the toe kick, some in the cab corners, the doors are great, above windshield is great, hood is great, the right side has fender damage looks like a old school light side swipe deal...
I got it running, and it runs great, has some smoke, but it hasn't ran for several years, so who knows?? the transmission has a grinding noise, not sure what it is, seems to stay in tune to the tire revolution. faster you go faster the noise.. could be out of oil, or ujoint? I don't think its the rear end, I can hear it under the cab.. probably wouldn't be a bad idea to yank motor and trans and go threw if your wanting to put a lot of miles on it...
will need one hoist cable replaced it was seized up, I cut it and operated it manuall, and it raised right up, tires are old and junk, but do hold air, I didn't mess with the brakes or add fluid or anything the ebrake works so.. for you guys that need it transported it will run steer and stop...
the truck was missing the key, I have another key and tumbler ordered, its running off a hot wire to the coil... tank has old gas and will need pulled and cleaned out, I have it running on a electric fuel pump.. buyer will not get the fuel setup or the 6 volt battery, I took the 6 volt out of one of my other cars, to get running...
overall the pictures tell the tale.. you guys know what your looking at and the rarity of the rig.. I don't think it will take a lot of money to make this a everyday driver... I was surprised how easy it fires right up.. after cleaning points, new coil, new plugs.. etc
the truck is located near Harvard Nebraska 68944I'm willing to help get ya quotes on shipping, and a heads up I can get the truck shipped to Kentucky for a very reasonable rate... if you live in nearby states to Kentucky
also I'm willing to store the truck for a reasonable amount of time as well, if your wanting to come get it yourself
truck is selling as is and no reserve so bid to win!good luck!!
