1978 Chevy Luv

Description

For your consideration is a mostly original Chevy Luv pickup
Engine is a 1994 Chevy vortec 4.3L V6 with an rv cam, Holley intake and Holley 390cfm carburetor.Engine has low miles and cylinder heads are remanufactured. Starts up easily with a click of the key!
Transmission is a 700r4 4 speed overdrive automatic with a shift kit. It was new when installed about a year ago. It shifts firmly and works great.
Exhaust is tucked up and doesn’t hang down or drag on driveways, no leaks with a mellow sleeper tone.
The body is original and there are some common rust spots as seen in photos. Overall it is a survivor that is in good shape for its age. There are no open holes in the bed or inside the cab. No water leaks
Interior is clean but seat does have a tear on driver side
I installed new steering tie rods and lower ball joints on the front about a year ago when I put in the new transmission. Alignment was also done
As seen in photos the bed floor is damn near perfect
All 4 tires are good
All lights work, all of the electrical is good and wiring is not hacked
I have been daily driving this truck off and on over the past 7 years and it has proven to be a very solid and reliable daily driver. With the overdrive transmission it cruises nicely at 65mph and it will do 75 mph+ effortlessly. This truck is very fast and I don’t recommend it for a first vehicle. You will have no problem passing 80% of the vehicles out there on the highway. It is a blast to drive!
