1952 Chevy 3100 built by Steelworks Garage. This truck has won shows and is a real head turner. The paint is a combination of real and faux patina and looks different in different lighting. The truck does have rust, patch panels and holes that were left during the build as part of the theme of this truck.
The truck sits on the chevy 3100 frame, not an s10 swap. Front end is a TCI mustang 2 airbag setup with power rack and pinion steering and disk brakes. Rear suspension is a custom triangulated 4 link with a ford F-150 rear end. Air suspension is composed of twin Viair compressors and Accuair management.
Engine is a new Blueprint engines crate 383ci 430hp stroker sbc with aluminum heads and roller cam. FiTech mean street EFI and MSD ignition take care of the fuel and spark. The fuel pump is also brand new. The engine has about 200 miles on it. It does have a warranty from blueprint engines. The trans is a 700r4. Also under the hood is a new aluminum radiator, electric fan and shroud. New alternator and new willwood master cylinder.
On the interior there is a custom bomber seat with ostrich upholstery. The vintage air conditioning blows ice cold. There is a kicker stereo with 8 speakers and two subs. The amps are mounted under the seat. The cab and doors have dynomat. The latches were recently switched to a modern post style latch so the doors shut easy without the need to slam them. All the autometer gauges work, but the screen for the Fitech needs to be replaced.
The center of the wood bed has a remote control dual ram setup to gain access to the air compressors and tank, as well as the fuel fill. There is LED lighting to show off the suspension or for filling the gas tank up at night. Also tucked under the bed is a set of train horns that are hooked up to the air tank. There is also easily accessible battery posts to jump start the truck or charge the battery as well as a master kill switch.
Finally, the truck sits on mobsteel 20” custom painted wheels and has custom copper colored bumpers.
