1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS 454 CI LS5 360 + hp 500 lbs torque

This stunning 1970 SS El Camino finished restoration in 2020. It is fresh painted in the factory cranberry red with the black "tuxedo" hood stripes. The motor is the 454 LS5 producing 360 hp and 500 lbs of torque with a Holly 780 carb and Edelbrock intake, aluminum radiator, performance cam, HEI ignition, and factory air and cowl induction. 1970 was the first year the LS5 was offered. It was also available in 71 and 72 although with government driven changes in compression. The power flows thru an M40 Turbo Hydramatic with a shift kit to a 12 bolt rear with 3.31 gears. It has the SS sport package with SS badging, hood pins, gauge package, power steering, power front disc brakes the F1 suspension package with front and rear sway bars and (now added) air schocks. The interior is completely new with new carpet, Carbeau bucket seats, 14" steering wheel,headliner, oil pressure gauge, instrument package with tach which came with the optional LS5, and a replica Blue Tooth radio. It shifts with the classic horse shoe console shifter. The music heard thru the 2.5 inch Flowmasters is classic muscle. She rides on new raised letter tires and new OEM rims. The bed has a spray in liner and a lay in mat. The chrome throughout is either new or very nice. This beauty turns heads everywhere and will be a star at any car show.
