You are bidding on a very nice and rare 1971 Monte Carlo with it's original matching numbers 402 engine. This is a one owner vehicle with only 43,000 actual miles on it! SS Ralley Cluster w/ Tach, 4 Speed Muncie Transmission with center console and 12 Bolt 3.31 Posi. The car just had a complete on frame restoration on a completely rust free body! The following was just completed 8 months ago. Since complete restoration only 1,150 miles have been put on this vehicle.
New Paint, Complete new front end with tubular a-arms, original 402 completely rebuilt with eagle rods, aluminum heads, 2.19/1.88 Stainless Valves, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and the original Quadrajet we had modified, Comp Cam and lifter kit, Pertronix Electronic Ignition Distributor which looks original, aluminum high flow water pump, heavy duty original style clutch fan, original style chrome BBC valve covers, new 4 core original radiator, all new hoses and belts, Milodon 7qt oil pan with hp Melling oil pump, and much much more!
Everything works as it should. To make a long story short this car is new from bumper to bumper. The car sounds great with it's Flowmaster dual exhaust. Runs, drives, and shifts perfect with no issues or leaks what so ever. The only thing left to do to the car is to cover the drivers front bucket seat as it does have a split in the seam. Everything else is in great shape including the new carpet and original dash. If it wasn't for building a house this spring this car would not be listed. As we both know I would never be able to replace this car as it is very rare!
