Running Project, Factory Air and Power Steering, Many New Parts, CA Black Plates
Description
This is a 1967 model year vehicle. The VIN is 136807Z130652.
Long term project that is within eyesight of the finish-line! Engine runs well and has HEI distributor, brake system completely gone through with rebuilt master cylinder and booster, all new interior parts and vinyl top included in the sale. I have not touched it in over a year, and have realized that I won't be finishing it any time soon, even though it is so close to the end. Everything is there! Tons of receipts! Time for someone else to take over and get her done.
One true owner. Includes original pink slip and black CA license plates. As the story goes, in 1981 the son of the owner disassembled this El Camino and proceeded to do a complete paint job in "Metallic Root Beer" (my name for the color, not a paint code). After that, it was parked in dry storage until 2018 when I purchased it from the original owner. I began a restoration with the help of a mechanic, but when it came time to finish up the cosmetics I got sidelined. A complete new interior and vinyl top are included, as well as all of the original trim and parts. I can assist with nationwide delivery. All parts are safely stored in the rear of the vehicle and will be thoroughly secured for transport.
This El Camino features both "Chevelle" and "Malibu" badging. This is a Malibu Series El Camino (ST 67-13680 code). Manufactured in Fremont, CA (BF code). It features a Medium Gold Imitation Leather Bench Seat (TR 783 code), Door Window Frame Molding (TR B90 code), and a Vinyl Top (TR C08 code).
