Description

For nearly fifteen years Chevrolet would build the third generation or C3 Corvette during what is probably the worst time in automotive history with looming governmental regulations, safety regulations and a fuel crisis. Lack of Horse Power, new computer systems and vacuums were only a few of the problems that consumed the US Auto Manufacturers. What Corvette did have going for it was its incredible design that was considered way ahead of its time and a design that would hold attention to this day. This particular stunning automobile has been 100% gone through by a father/son duo. It received a frame off restoration with a new 400 Small Block that was bored and stroked to 434. It is mated to a 5-speed manual tremec transmission. Along with that build comes Dart Aluminum Heads, Roller rocker with lifters, forged pistons, 10:1 compression, cast forged crank, hooker comp headers, MSD ignition and distributor and everything from fuel system, to brakes system and all suspension including a rear composite spring for a much nicer ride. Has a aluminum radiator, edelbrock intake, holley carb, gas shocks and electric fans for ease of driving. The body, paint and interior are new and in great condition. All of the original parts accompany the vehicle for the asking price and shipping is responsibility of the buyer as is the car. It comes with a original #'s matching 350 engine that has been completely rebuilt with its 4-speed trans, carb, rear end, LT-1 intake, dual snorkel air cleaner, chrome pieces and 7- Quart oil pan. The car comes with a full receipt and paper trail for the restoration. This car, starts, runs and drives very nicely and is a desirable steel bumper car. It would take 3x the asking price to build this car.
