There's less than 4k miles on this El Camino since completing its frame-off restoration, and the thoughtfulness of this build can be seen everywhere. It all starts with the paint. Instead, during the thorough restoration an absolutely amazing shade of Sunburst Orange was applied. They are high-back racing-style units that are also finished in a supple tan leather. The clean presentation of the seats matches the cup holder center console, rear panel, headliner, and the custom door panels for a thoughtful presentation. Other performance pieces include the Holley 650 double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, HEI distributor, and headers feeding the thunderous Flowmaster dual exhaust. It's a strong powerhouse that said to be rated at 400+ horsepower, and you get to take firm control over it all with the Muncie M21 close-ratio four-speed manual transmission. There are stout upgrades, like the 12-bolt rear end, boxed trailing arms, and rear sway bar. And the modern ZR-rated tires and four-wheel drilled & slotted disc brakes keep it all under your control.
