Rare opportunity to own a special C4 Corvette. Car is in spectacular show room like condition and is an excellent representation of the C4 Corvette that took the market by storm in late 1983. This car was delivered Dec. 7 1983 to the Vette Doc of SoCal fame. He was a legend in the Southern California Corvette scene and life time member the Corvette Club. He had a service center for C2-C4 Vettes and was well known. He has retired to Utah after his wife passed and decided to let this car go. I have extensive receipts, notes and spreadsheet documenting the entire car from day 1! As well as extensive Corvette Memorabilia of the time period - all pre-delivery and press coverage. Would be an excellent piece to park alongside your 2020 that has taken the car world by storm! Sound mechanical condition. A joy to drive and show. Undercarriage is highly detailed. Could eat off of every surface. Original wheels and tires have less than 50 miles on them! I think the air in the tires is still from Bowling Green, LOL. Very Rare factory CB (powers on but useless, poor signal). Automatic trans is solid. Ice cold AC. Dash is perfection with all systems and gauges functioning properly. Car looks to be almost new. It is 36 years old and has one or two minor flaws that are hard to fix: rear hatch latch cover has crack on left side - can see when hatch is opened. Original Windshield cracked along bottom edge. Happened first few weeks he owned car. Did not want to replace. Passenger door rubber scrapper has a 1" pice missing. Power antenna mast replaced but it really needs a new assembly. I have it, but trying to keep original. That is it. 4 minor items. I search all the time for hatch piece. I think it is unique to 1984. The car looks like it is a 7k mile car, not 70K! Paint is in great shape. I am starting to see some small flaws and age relatedimperfections. I have over 100 detailed pics I can share on Photobucket. Absolutely stunning. Can not be duplicated for asking price and will out perform Tuned Port cars from thefollowing years. Dash and sub systems are in phenomenalshape. All gauges work and display accordingly. Stored in my climate garage.
I have all original parts to car. The Vette Doc, set it up for bracket racing and club events by installing angle plug heads, tuned, polishedand ported. Breathes better and has great low end power. In one of the pics I have all theoriginal parts stored and accounted for. The spread sheets notes every modification and service, as well as driving log, fuel mileage and time slips.
