This car was originally purchased by the Nurses Association of Fairhaven Massachusetts for the traveling nurses. Documentation included.
This 57 is powered by a Straight 6 235 Blue Flame and backed by a 3-speed transmission. The engine has been overhauled professionally by the current owner within the past few years including new bearings, seals, oil pump, valve job etc. The transmission was also overhauled at that time with new seals, clutch, flywheel, and throw out bearing. Also, at that time a new fuel tank, carb rebuild, and exhaust was installed.
All the bright work has been replaced with new. All the original bright work will also go with the car.
This 57 was purchased to be reliable and enjoyed on sunny days. Everything works as it should. All electrical, suspension, drivetrain, and braking systems operate as they should. The car is currently registered and insured with zero issues.
The chassis is extremely solid with some minor repairs that were made to the floor pan back in the80s. There is currently no rust or rot that needs attention. (please see pictures)
The car had a restoration in the 80s where it was repainted and also had a new interior installed. The paint and interior is in excellent condition. The car shows very well and is extremely dependable. The current owner drives it anywhere without hesitation.
