This Purple Haze convertible is a unique piece and has been very nicely restored. With 143,000 actual miles on the clock, it was never used and abused, but it received a cosmetic and mechanical restoration anyway. The paint has been professionally redone with some custom touches. A Z28 hood has been added along with ground effects and a rear spoiler. The 5-spoke wheels have been done in black to match the black accents of the paint and the convertible top. The interior is all new with black vinyl bucket seats that look great and are very comfortable. Under the hood is as clean as you will find with the 5.0L V8 engine dressed to impress and backed by an automatic transmission with overdrive. It has a great sound through dual exhaust and retains the catalytic converters for emissions. A modern AM/FM/AUX/USB radio has been installed. These convertibles were built by ASC and were very limited production. There were only 2,562 RS convertibles built in 1992 making this a collectible muscle car! Making this beauty even more rare is the J65 code for 4-wheel power disc brakes. With only 3,645 of over 70,000 Camaros built receiving that option in 1992.
