This 1955 Chevrolet Nomad has been tastefully built into one amazing resto-mod. Starting with a good solid car a new drive train was in order to make this a dependable and comfortable long haul cruiser and nothing fit the bill better than a new LS1 from Street & Performance backed by a 4L65E automatic overdrive transmission with a 9" Ford rear axle from Currie. The steering was also updated with a power rack and pinion set up along with 4 wheel power disc brakes by CPP. The arrow straight body received a beautiful two stage emerald turquoise paint along with a white pearl roof. All new chrome, stainless, glass, and weather stripping were added to complete the package. The interior received a complete make over with all new upholstery, carpet, headliner, seat covers, etc.... The dash was restored with a new gauge cluster from Dakota Digital and all new stainless inserts and chrome hardware. Other features include Vintage air conditioning, electric wipers, chrome tilt column and CD player. The car sits on 18" alloy wheels with Nitto tires. The beautiful Nomad runs and drives like a dream, very tight and sound with a comfortable ride to it. This is a turn key drive anywhere car that is ready to go.
