Description

I have my restored 1988 Chevy Suburban Silverado R20 for sale. I purchased this Suburban back in 2001. It has the original 7.4 454 CI TPI engine. Other options include Tilt steering wheel, light tinted rear windows, factory towing package, heavy duty hitch with 7 pin connector, radiator fan for extra cooling, oil cooler, transmission cooler which was added by me, turbo 400 heavy duty transmission, heavy duty Dana Rear End with heavy duty big drum brakes. Engine runs very good, uses no oil between changes, doesnt smoke, doesnt overheat. Interior is in very good condition. No tears, carpet has some very light stains, but clean overall, no carpet tears. Two new bumpers, front and rear. I still have the third seat which gets locked down in the back, seat is in good condition also. Dash pad is brand new. All gauges work. Truck came with Factory A/C which isnt currently working. Had it checked out, needs new compressor, and a new line. Outside the body is in excellent condition. No rust at all. Floor boards have no rust at all. You will not find a better rust free Suburban like this. This truck was used mostly in Florida from original owner i was told. Tires are all in great condition, no weather checking, very good thread also. Tire size, LT/235/85/R16 all 4 Tires. I am the 3rd owner. I used this Suburban to pull my drag race car to the track only. Never saw any rain, and snow since i owned it. It was stored all the years i owned it in the early fall and winter and only came out of storage for the racing season which began in early May and ended in late Sept in Michigan, then put up for storage. I painted the whole underneath of the truck after the body was painted. Wheels are in great shape, truck drives straight and doesnt shake. Front end is tight. New shock absorbers installed. Very well taken care of with oil changes, greased, and kept clean. The Engine has new spark plugs, wires, new distributor, hoses, belts, egr valve and other components that work with this sytem, air filter, gas filter, new TPI injectors, valve cover gaskets, new intake gasket, pvc valve, new catalytic converter, rest of exhaust system still original and in good shape, new battery. New oil sending unit too. Transmission has fresh fluid change with new trans filter. They dont make these Suburbans like this anymore. Looking for a Suburban to pull a camper, car trailer, than this is it. It has all the package to do so. Clean, rust free, mechanically sound. Very nice looking Suburban. You will also notice the number 52 in the pictures. Thats the original chalk number that was used on the assembly line. This is the real deal folks.
