This car is very original. There has been only one repaint with original factory code 993 color. Car has been completely redone. The engine, gearbox and rear end was completely gone through by Nicole Racing and built back to factory specs. The hard internal and external parts were inspected and replaced if needed. All seals, gaskets, bearings, bushings, synchronizers, o rings, etc. were replaced with new OEM parts. The carburetor was completely rebuilt. The four piston braking system lines, calipers, pads were replaced with new parts. This is a numbers matching engine, transmission and rear end. The drive line parts, axles, exhaust, brakes, master cylinder, fuel lines, brake lines, all suspension ball joints, bushings, bearings and front end steering parts were replaced with new. The body was lifted off the chassis so the chassis could be cleaned, painted and new body bushings were set in place when the body was set back onto the chassis. The new complete OEM stock exhaust system installed with new pipe hangers. The Muncie M21 close ratio was completely gone through and rebuilt. The 12 bolt positive traction rear end was also gone completely through and rebuilt. The factory Delco AC was reconditioned and blows cold air, the heater works as well. The car was built to factory OEM specs. The steal factory intake was replaced with a light weight aluminum intake to reduce weight and improve engine performance. The factory distributor with points and condenser was replaced with a solid state ignition that requires no setting of the points and creates more efficient start ups and better engine performance. The engine is fitted with a Holley carburetor. The roadster is riding on four P235 x 60R x 15" BF Goodrich Radial TA white letter tires on the factory OEM wheels. The spare tire is also on a factory wheel. The spare tire cover is included and not pictured to show the fresh undercarriage. The 1970 model Corvette was the second lowest production model year to date, due to a strike at the GM plant. The very lowest production model was the very first production year. There were only 6,648 Stingray Convertibles (code 67) built for the 1970 model year with an additional 10,668 Coupe models (code 37) built . Because this is one of the lowest production years and that fact that it is basically the last year for real power, these vehicles will always appreciate as a collectable classic sports car and muscle car. The vehicle is housed inside out of the weather and has had no physical damage. I am asking only $55,000.00 and have attached a 2016 NADA value report.
