1964 Corvair Monza
Description
Car is in fairly good shape. Clean inside and out. I use to board so drive all over the area. It drives and stops sraight. New shocks and rear brakes in past 6 months. Carbs were rebuilt but need again as they leak and weren't synced the first time around. Motor has some small leaks but nothing big as there is usually a quarter size drop after a couple of weeks. Interior is nice. The passenger side was hit at some point with some bad bondo work. Body shop advised it's not too bad but I didn't look into it any further. All gauges, lights and blinkers work. interior is nice and was redone at some point in time. the car has some typical spots of rust bubbling through the paint. Please ask any questions that you have and please ask for specific photos as I'd be more than happy to provide what you need. The car does run fairly good and has good compression. Most I've seen locally are none running cars beginning at 1500. Feel free to call with any questions. 208-392-3667. I reserve the right to pull early as car is also for sale locally.
To answer a few questions - the pics of the hubcaps are of 4 additional Corvair caps that I have. Also, i have the chrome trim that runs the bottom of the car.
-no, the valve covers don't leak and neither does the trans appear to leak as it was replaced prior to our purchase. Its missing the drivers side air inlet and I have one that goes with the car just needs to be installed.
yes, i have the original radio that came with the car as it was replaced at some point. Tires appear to have lots of tread with 2 of them having cracks in them.
