Here we have an amazing 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hardtop that has received a frame off restoration into one of the most beautiful pro touring style cars that you will ever come across. A 1957 2 door hardtop is a pretty rare car in itself but what makes this particular 57 unique is the fact that it is a rust free California car. This 57 retains all of it's original floors, rockers and quarters and are in amazing condition. The body is arrow straight with excellent seams and alignment, perfect fit and finish. We all know a black car is very unforgiving when it comes to having any imperfections in the body and this car has none, super slick all over. The two stage black paint has a deep consistent shine to it that flows from the top to the bottom of the doors. All chrome and stainless are new and it also has the one-piece California bumpers. All glass and weather stripping is also new. The beautiful custom interior has been finished in red leather with power bucket seats both driver and passenger, custom built console, ididit tilt column with 15" custom wheel, AM-FM-XM stereo, electric wipers, and cold air condition. The dash has been painted a satin red finish that looks absolutely incredible. All chrome and stainless hardware has also been replaced with new. The interior of this car is simply breathtaking. The drive train for this 57 consist of a GM crate 350/350hp V8 topped with an Edelbrock intake and carb. The transmission is a Tremec 5 speed with a 3.36 gear ratio in the rear axle. Keeping everything cool is an oversized aluminum radiator. The car is also equipped with power steering via a CPP steering box, power disc brakes and front and rear sway bars. Wheels are 17" and 18" chrome U.S. Mags wrapped in new tires. We also have all the receipts and photos for the build of this car. This black beauty is turn key ready.
