Description

NO RESERVE - 3/4 of an incredible frame off custom build. 1948 Chevrolet 3100 with a rebuilt LT1 and 4L60E automatic transmission. The truck has less than 10 miles on it since rebuild. The cab has no rust with new metal on cab corners and floor. Doors and hood are rust free and in great original condition. All NEW glass all around with smoke sides and rear. Brand new Omega gauges. Hounds Tooth bucket seats original from a 69 Camaro in amazing shape. Ford 9" rear end with brand new rear suspension from Chassis Engineering. Adjustable ride height buckets with coil front springs brand new from Chassis Engineering. New 4 wheel disc brakes. New front anti sway bar from Chassis Engineering. New 4 row Champion radiator with pusher fan. Power steering. Brand New Omega aluminum between the frame fuel cell with in tank fuel pump. Aluminum drive shaft. Brand new blue dot headlights with built in turn signals. I have a lot of spare parts including all new weatherstripping for the entire vehicle. Bumper brackets, too much to list them all.
Originally purchased as a project for me and my son. He is off to college and we are downsizing and selling home and won't have a garage in new place. Can't afford to finish and put two kids through college. This would be a fantastic truck for anyone looking for a truck to complete. I do not have the bed. The truck was a one owner farm truck in North Dakota and they beat the bed up. The bed parts are just much cheaper to buy new than try to fix. I also never purchased a new grille and bumpers as planned. I actually have the North Dakota title from the original owner. I have never registered it since I purchased it.
This truck has a ton of hours and money invested. I wanted to do it right and have something to pass on to kids. Breaks my heart to sell but life throws you curve balls. Truck runs strong!

The original VIN plate is on the vehicle. It had been painted over several times but the etched VIN is clearly legible but some of the information like gross vehicle weight is difficult to read. The VIN also matches the title. I misspoke saying it was titled in North Dakota, it was actually South Dakota.
I appreciate all the interest, don't hesitate to ask me questions.
