....A well sorted beauty, ready to tear up some roads !!..This NCRS "Top Flight" roadster mixes an original dual quad 283 C.I. V8, with an original 4-speed transmission and enough style to make anyone jealous !!.. During its extensive restoration this awesome roadster’s contoured fiberglass body was completely stripped, layered in a glossy "Venetian Red" base coat and trimmed with clean "Shoreline Beige" door coves. As all ‘57 Corvettes, it was assembled at GM’s St. Louis manufacturing facility. As most ’57 Corvettes, its fit and finish shows much better now than it did when new. Overall, the car’s solid condition is a fine example of a top notch, road-ready classic. Nice paint and chrome does not mean a car is mechanically comparably. Take a look under its well fit hood and you’ll find the original, 283 / 270 H.P. V8 w/ a dual quad/high performance/4-speed "EG" assembly stamp over a 1957-specific #3731548 casting number. Putting the "rubber to the road", is an original Borg Warner T10 4-speed manual transmission, which wears a telling “T10” brand and a correct “W” coded build stamp. This sends power through what appears to be the car’s original, highway "crusin" rear axle. Keeping it tight in the curves, is a fully restored, double A-arm front, and solid axle rear suspension completely returned to factory specifications. Hugging the road are factory 15 inch steel wheels & 6.70-15 BF Goodrich "Silver Town" whitewalls w/ traditional stainless wheel covers.As a highly desirable a C1 in the marketplace you will see reasonably priced.
