Description

I have owned this 70 Blazer for 15 years, it was my daily driver for about 10 and the last few years I haven't driven it much. My plan was to restore it, but plans change. It is powered by a throttle body injected 350 from an 88 Chevy pickup. It has a TH350 transmission and NP205 transfer case. The front axle has been changed from drum to disk brakes. The Blazer runs and drives good. It has the cruise control out of the 88 engine donor. There is some typical old Chevy play in the steering. There is rust in the rockers, I have a new pair that will go with the Blazer. There is also rust in the front quarter panels, and front fenders. It has a 71 grille in it now. I have a 68 Chevy front clip that needs little work that I was going to put on if the buyer is interested in it. The torsion boxes are rust free. The Blazer has many sought after options added like tilt wheel, tachometer, A/C (not completely hooked up) and cruise. It also has hard to find parts that are often missing like the carpet strips and single wall top hold down strips. The front seats are out of a mid 90's suburban. The driver seat is power operated. The passenger seat tilts forward like the original. The rear seat is a flip and fold seat out of a 80's Blazer. The soft top is a softopper brand and has been used the last two summers. It is in perfect shape. The soft top is over $900 from softopper and is no longer available in white. The wheels and tires are new and have less than 1000 miles on them. The exhaust is a year old and has turbo mufflers, it sound good without being overly loud. I am located right in the middle of the country 20 minutes from interstate 80. This Blazer still makes a nice daily driver or is ready for cosmetic work to make it a real head turner.
