This beautiful numbers matching (Motor and Tranny) 1968 Chevrolet Corvette features a Tri-Power 427 CID Big Block Engine with 435 Horsepower and classic Stingray Body, without the Stingray name. Eight cylinders of pure power at your disposal! This Corvette is all original. The only exceptions being aftermarket headers, the seats were reupholstered, a new interior was installed, new inner door panels, and rubber seals. It also features an M21 Muncie 4-speed Transmission and original Muncie shifter. This Corvette has a 4.11 heavy duty posi-traction rear end. Its intensity of acceleration may make your heart skip a beat. It was repainted in 2002 with the correct color of International Blue (only 2,473 originally made and only used for one year). This beautiful 1968 Corvette has just over 65,000 original miles, and has had only 4 owners. The documentation includes the original invoice, Tank sticker, Protect-O-Plate, owner’s manual packet, original vintage era headers, scatter shield, traction bars, and progressive throttle linkage. Also included is a collage with all the information on the vehicle, see attached photo. The progressive throttle linkage was installed by the original owner.
