1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer
Description
Up for sale is my 72 K5 Blazer, I've owned this truck since March of 2012. It was bought from a used car lot in North Carolina so I don't know a lot about the trucks history. I was told by dealer that a new 350 crate motor was just installed before it was traded in, I never ran #'s on block but it appears to be true.
Since I purchased the truck I have done the following:
- New Upholstery on front and rear seats
- 6 Seat Belts
- New door panels
- New dash pad
- Roll bar (cosmetic only to attach bikini top)
- Bikini top
- Dual Exhaust
- Headers
- New tires (last year, probably less than 400 miles on them)
- Steering box
- New rocker boxes
At some point floor pans have been patched and spray in bed liner applied. I can't take a photo of floors because carpet pad is stuck to floor but they seem solid.
Truck runs strong and sounds good. Brakes have a squeak but I had them inspected and pads are fine and was told it just needed drove more. All lights, turn signals, wipers, radio and horn work as they should.
The truck came with a top as seen in pictures, I removed it when I bought it and have never put it back on, I only drive it in summer so I never needed it. Top is average condition and painted flat black.
This is not a show truck but it is a nice driver, paint is probably a 5 or 6 in my opinion. There are some places on passenger door and just behind door shown in pictures. Bumpers look nice, probably have been replaced at some point.
I have described the truck the best I can, please come see it in person if possible or arrange for a 3rd party to inspect for you. If you have any questiosn please feel free to call me at 740-418-6115
This is a nice truck that turns some heads, I hate to see it go but have recentley purchased a wagon and I'm out of garage space.
