1987 Chevy Silverado 4X4
Description
Selling my 1987 Chevy Silverado 4X4. I am the second owner and my Uncle bought it new off the showroom floor in 1987. Vehicle has been kept under a carport most of it's life with occasional trips to the deer lease. power windows, doors and COLD A/C. Automatic transmission and auto locking four wheel drive. recently been tuned up and had all four tires replaced with BFG 31x10.50 R15's with less than two hundred miles on them engine was replaced 20k miles ago. K&N air filter is freshly charged. Also has an old spray in bed liner done in the early ninety's. The liner is thicker than the new ones and will not come off. Truck was repainted after the liner was installed and is the same victory red that came from the factory. As it is a late model 87 it is fuel injected with a throttle body but still retains the dual gas tanks with a cross over switch. Averages about 15 miles a gallon in town and about 18 on the highway. Four wheel drive is strong and the auto locking hubs make transition easy. Only issues with her is a broken door pull strap on the passenger side and a missing 4X4 cap sticker on the right rear hubcap.I recently had the windows tinted as the Texas sun is brutal. I have placed a seat cover on the seat as the original material is worn and needs replacing.Interior is all original other than the seat cover. Truck is a long bed with no rust anywhere. Any questions feel free to ask.
