1970 Chevelle SS396

15 year same owner, real SS but no build sheet, Painted 10 yrs ago GM Bright Red, Non numbers engine...very strong rebuilt 40, 4 speed M2, 3:31 12 bolt rear gear just gone through ...all new bearings axles etc...New High output polished alternator, Power brakes and steering. Edelbrock intake, carb, GM HEI distributor, Hooker ceramic header to all new 21/2 " Flowmaster 70 series...just the right amount of rumble without ticking off neighbors. New interio, Strato Buckets, Center console with seat belt retainers. Autometer tach and oil,,volt and temp guages. New fuel tank. Very fun to drive and show. Have not put more than 1K miles on any of the new parts. Van Nuys car....SoCal all its life. Raer qtrs replaced way before me...work done is undetectable....as it should be. Very "period correct" mods done that can easily be un-done. Same hot rod bolt ons that would have been done in the 70's...One of the most awarded Chevelles in San Diego. A definite "look at me" car.
