Description

It is getting harder to find an unmolested original classic car in this well preserved condition.
This 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster Sport sedan is an excellent example of a well maintained survivor with 53,292 actual miles.
Original paint with great patina. Original interior. Original 216 engine with vacuum shift 3 speed.
Starts, runs, drives and stops very good. Very tight and quiet driving car.
Has correct, brand new Coker Classic G78-15 bias ply, wide whitewall tires with less than 100 miles.
Some options on car:Under seat heater (fan motor runs slow)Firewall mounted defroster heater (works good)Front bumper grill guard.Rear fold down bumper guard.Philco CR6 / Motorola Radio ( lights up and hums but not working properly).
The universal, adjustable Fulton sunvisor is NOT included with car. It was used on another application..
This car has had a great history in S.D.
Only items I noticed that are not original to car is the muffler, shift knob, fuel pump, coolant hoses / filters and a few other misc. maintenance items.
Doors all operate like new.Electrical is in good condition.Verynice, smooth shiny chrome for the ageand all stainless trim is intact.Glass is excellent . Very clean and clear, however, RH side windshield has a crack and RH door vent window has a crack.
One picture shows the trunk accessories: Good rubber rear fender gravel guardswere removed, Was going to find stainless gravel guards. The original Delco Remy distributor cap, wires and rotorare still in good useable condition. Nice set of tire chains are in white bag. Complete and Correct Bumper jack.
The body and frame is very, very rust free. I know where to look for possible rust damage on these cars and there was none to be found.
Has some minor dents or dings on fenders only, as shown in pictures.
Very solid car. Very good original undercarriage.
This car was never taken apart. Never been wrecked. No signs of any previous damage, body work or repairs.
Could use some new door surround weather strip, a front carpet section, and a trunk mat to be more presentable.
Fun and very easy car to detail or refurbish.
I can offer more detailed pictures upon request.
