Number One prototype Cheverra Camaro built by Cars & Concepts for the 24 Hour Daytona Race. One of three in existence. Comes with the Matchbox AMT Snapfit model of this one-off car. Also comes with 50 original build pictures from 1979 at Cars & Concepts. Although the car was registered in Daytona, it did not run the race due to engine malfunction. The car now has a fresh 383 cubic inch built by Dart manufacturer in Michigan in 1992 with less than 500 miles.This Cheverra Camaro has an original Herb Adams race suspension with a Nascar equipped Ford rear axel with Daytona hubs, Daytona pinion carrier, 411 Richmond gears with all 4 wheel Nascar Hurst Airheart disc breaks. It has a 15 gallon 1979 Nascar style fuel system.This Cheverra Camaro has the original race seats. The drivers seat has a SFI up to date 5 point harness by G-FORCE. It has headlights, turn signals, break lights, and a license plate light for street driving.The car runs and drives straight and is track ready. It has a full roll cage and has never been wrecked.The exterior has no rust with the worn original paint.
