1968 Camaro Pro Street Big Block Airride SS
Description
This beast is a 1968 Camaro powered by a 496 CI Big Block Chevy.
Car has been back-halved professionally with ladder-bar suspension in the rear and tubular A-arms up front. The vehicle rides on air ride by ShockWaves and has a digital control panel inside. The brakes are 4-wheel disc by Aerospace. Wheels are Bonspeed Huntingtons 18x7 in the front and 20x18 in the rear wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires.
The engine has SRP forged pistons with a total of 13:1 compression. Eagle Forged rotating assembly with H-beam rods. The cam is from Lunati and is a solid-roller with .722 lift and Comp solid rollers. Crane shaft mount rockers, fully ported Canfield heads with flow sheet. The intake is a Profiler Sniper Jr. and topped off with a SV1 110 MM carb. The car is equipped with MSD crank trigger and a MSD 7AL2 ignition box. Cooling this monster is a 4-core Griffin radiator with electric fan and electric water-pump.
Transmission is a T400 with a reverse-manual valve body with a 4,000 RPM stall converter. The shifter is a TCI Lightning Stick.
The rear-end is a narrowed 12-bolt with Moser axles anda spooled 4:11 gear.
The body and paint look absolute flawless. The car is lazer straight black with silver stripes. There is a hair-line crack above the driver-side door handle where some bumped into it at a show and there is another small crack near the right-side trinklid/back glass. Other than this the car is flawless. The interior has two racing buckets with silver and black leather. Fully carpeted and has roll cage. Custom gauges and dash panel.
The sounds this car makes is unbelievable and draws attention anywhere it goes. It has never been raced or abused in any way. I have owned this car since 2008 and has about 1200 miles on the initial build and less than 400 miles on engine.
