1982 Corvette Collector Edition

Description

This is a 1982Corvette Collectors Edition. The decals were removed from the car and it waspreppedandrepaintedfactory color. I replaced the heater core andinstalleda new dash pad.I also installed new carpet in the car and all the interiorscrewswere replaced with SS.The car has a brand newexhaustsystem from the exhaust manifold back.The car runs,shifts, and drives great. I also installed a new sound system with a custom sub box all new speakers and abluetoothhigh endradio. The car needs some work to complete it. I justdon'thave the time to put into it any longer. The rubber around the windows, tee top, and hatch need to be replaced. I have them and will of courseincludethem with the car. The AC does not work. The blower switch was replaced but is not working at the time. There are some finishingtouchesthatneed to be done to the interior. It looks good though. The rear end has very slight leak at the yoke and there is a small leak on one of the valve covers. I think I pretty much covered the work it needs. This is not a perfect show car. I welcome anyone who is interested to take a look and take it for a drive. It is the perfect car for someonewho wantsa vette but does not have the big bucks to spend they are brining these days.The car is also an investment. The prices go upevery year. I chose not to reinstall the graphics that came on the car because I like it better without them. The graphic package is still available for about 1000 bucks.
