Up for auction is a garage-kept 1983 Chevrolet El Camino. It originally had a 305 automatic engine, which we replaced with a rebuilt 350 Chevy engine and a 700 R4 tranny, which we have put 1200 miles on. The previous owner to us put the tires on it, and had it repainted, both are still in great shape. We have added the following:chrome alternator and bracket, polished Edelbrock manifold, Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor, carburetor heat insulator base plate, chrome valve covers, air cleaner, air filter spacer, breather pcv, and fuel pump. Chrome water pump pulley, chrome power steering pump & pulley, chrome distributor hold down. All misc belts, hoses, lines, filters, distributor,Accel plug wires, plug wire separators, valve cover gaskets & hold downs, valve cover spreader bars & grommets. Aluminum radiator, s/s hose sleeves, Chromoly fuel pump push rod. New starter, hooker headers, and header reducer. Dual exhaust, and a triple gauge kit. There are some cracks in the dash (see pics) and no a/c (it was removed when engine was changed, but can be re-added) This is a great car, fun to drive, and good conversation piece!
We have some extras that are not on the car, but will go with it. These include a fuel injection set up, wiring harness, block hugger headers, and floor shifter.
