Many of these were produced with the small block 327 engine, but this example was born with a 427 cubic-inch powerhouse rated at a whopping 435 horsepower. A numbers matching 4-speed manual transmission puts you in control of the gears. The original numbers matching engine was, unfortunately, damaged early in its life, but it was replaced with the correct L71 427 engine. Firing up the monster V8 will set this beast into a soft burble at idle but one stomp on the loud pedal and she screams like a banshee from this correct tri-power engine.

The Goodwood green paint shines better than new and contrasts well off the redline radial tires. The chrome bumpers glisten in the sunlight and the chrome side pipes make dancing reflections around the vehicle.
