1976 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Sport Sedan 4-Door 5.7L

Up for sale is my 1976 Caprice Classic Sport Sedan. I bought the car in 2006 with just over 49,000 miles on it from the 2nd owner. The car is all original, I have tried to keep it that way. It even has most of the original parts under the hood, with exception of a couple belts, an air cleaner element and the exhaust system (yes you are reading that right it still has OE GM hoses and most OE tune up parts) this car could quite possibly be the most ORIGINAL equipment survivor car out there. It is as unmolested as they come, and hopefully you appreciate them that way. I have not seen another car out there of this original content, but there must be one somewhere.
The car is not without a few dings and blemishes in the paint, but it shows very well. The paint is original laquer. There is a blemish in the engine hood on the drivers side from being touched up. There is also a blemish on the trunk lid as well from what appears to be a finger print must have been something laquer didn't like. The rear bumper chrome is pitted area above the exhaust and the bumper fillers, while present do have cracks and the paint is wearing thin, some crumbling of fillers on ends.
This car was selected by GM in the summer of 2008 to have the distinction of being parade position 75 out of 106 vehicles in the GM Century Cruise, which celebrated the 100 year anniversary of GM during the annual Woodard Dream Cruise. One of the photos I included was captured by Autoblog.com as we participated in that event.
I have not driven this car since the 2008 GM parade. It has been locked away safely in my temperature controlled garage, as it always has been since that August. It is occasionally started and moved around the garage, and a battery is always tendered. I don't use the car and I need more room for other interests. UPDATE: There is paint bubbling on lower fenders at very bottom in front of doors and there is rust along the inner wheel opening edge at rear fender skirts probably from skirt rubbing on wheel opening.

UPDATE: Went out and started her up for 1st time since last June, fired right over. Still he only car I have that does that. Maybe I shouldn't sell it? LOL... I will change the oil and filter in the next few days before auction ends. Even though it's in storage I do this every year. NO additional charge.
PLEASE NOTE: The tires, while they look GREAT and have only a few thousand miles on them are 10 years old this May. If the winning bidder is planning to drive this vehicle home, you will need to drop by a tire shop immediately after picking it up and get new tires to do so. There is a discounttire not far from my home and theyare a national chain this should help if you are from out-of-state. You cannot trust tires over 8 years old and in addition, these tires are flat-spotted for sure and will vibrate.
