Description

1962 Corvair Monza Spyder coupe. 1964 front suspension with Adco sway bar. 1964 differential (rebuilt with Clarks V-8 posi unit) rear suspension with sway bar. Has Everything upgraded that Clarks and or Corvair underground had to offer at the time of the build. Suspension upgraded bushings and gas shocks. Steering: (flaming river fast ratio box with quick steering arms), was completely gone through prior to building motor. Brakes are HD with dual master cylinder conversion. Heads were 95 heads sent to Steve Goodman for re-work and 140 exhaust tubes. Block is from a late model 140 motor that was meticulously built. The turbo is a ray jay e-flow impeller on a crown housing. The carb has been upgraded to a Stromberg WW for driveability. A safeguard system by Ray Sedman manages the ignition. Interior dash has been upgraded with all new Auto-meter gauges, racing buckets. I have driven the car from Tulsa to Dallas and back without an issue. It is occasionally driven locally just to keep it up. It is registered locally and can be driven anywhere. I have too many projects and this one has been a lot of fun. Will deliver within an hour of Tulsa. Otherwise Local Pick-up only.
