1957 Used Manual
Description
STK 2046 1957 Chevrolet 4-Door BelAir Many of us have seen a '57 hardtop or ragtop that took us back in time. However, this BelAir 4-door Sedan is a different breed. Look at the photos - check out the one of the trunk. That's a lot of hardware, including a 1st Place Junior National Award in 2008. The detail of the restoration will leave you amazed. Starting with a solid North Carolina car (with factory build sheet), the owner recreated and documented something special. It could be sitting on the showroom floor in 1957. The muted rumble from the numbers- matching 265ci small block is music. This 2-barrel motor (option 221XG) was professionally rebuilt in 2008 and runs perfectly. Behind that, a 3-speed manual (3-on-the-tree) with O/D shifts flawlessly. Underneath is a rare "California" tubular frame that contains no welds. The silver/white exterior was repainted in 2008 and is virtually flawless. The chrome and gold trim looks new because it is, all of it, inside and out. The functional Continental Kit is just plain '50s cool. Factory spinner hubcaps and rear fender skirts complete the exterior package. The only thing that rivals the exterior is the interior. It's been restored to original and is better than new - it's fun to just look at the dash. Unlike the common hardtop or ragtop, this sedan is one-of-one. Our award winning BelAir sedan belongs in your tri-five collection. Call 800-650-1055 or visit www.autobarnclassiccars.com for additional information. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS ISâ€.
