You can't help but stare at this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle because at first glance this Super Sport tribute car looks both unique and amazing. This coupe did not start out life as a Super Sport model, and instead, someone spent a lot of time and money getting the big picture right to create this aggressive package. Code 10, Classic White, is a great color to have on a Chevelle, and when going for a Super Sport appearance the dark green accent makes this car a bold standout. The stripes were expertly painted on the car (not temporary decals!), so they are part of the high gloss shine. In fact, when the light hits this one right, it makes the bulge in the cowl induction hood quite noticeable. These Chevelles are known for having the right amount of brightwork on places like the bumpers, wheel housings, and the bright rally wheel package to tie its iconic appearance all together. The green stripes on the outside are actually a nice preview for the color inside. Most muscle cars have been switched over to an all-black interior over the years, so this factory pristine dark green interior feels like a precious gem. And we're willing to bet that plenty of people will comment how the SS stripes look like the color of the dash, carpets and seats. These muscle cars might have been the midsize Chevys, but there is plenty of room for six people. You can carry all of them in comfort thanks to a full heat/defrost setup that also includes provisions for air conditioning. Pop the hood, and you'll see a nicely-dressed 350 cubic-inch small-block V8, complete with chrome valve covers and air cleaner. But beyond this style is the substance of an Edelbrock performance intake, long tube headers, and Flowmaster dual exhaust. The whole package has good power and the rumble to back it up. This V8 is mated to GM's stout TH350 three-speed automatic that's connected to a 12-bolt Positraction rear end. This one is a true cruising machine with power steering, front disc brakes, and a very highway-friendly 2.73 rear end ratio. This idea of power and luxury comes together one final time with the grippy and comfortable Goodyear Eagle GTII tires. This is a great all-around Chevelle that backs up its distinctive looks with the factory buildsheet that tells you it was born that way. It's great to know that a classic this uniquely beautiful and desirable can also be affordable. This is the year Chevelle to have...call today!!
