Description

It's time to say hello to the ultimate in fun. This 1963 Chevrolet C10 truck has an aggressive all-black appearance that's backed up by a killer big-block roller motor and one of the meanest growls we have heard in our showroom. There's no way anyone will mistake this fleetside Chevy pickup for a workman's ride. Where there once was chrome up front, this one stands out with its murdered out appearance. The fresh midnight paintwork has that great car show shine that highlights all the beautiful 1960s bodylines, but this one can't hide its toughness. The cool cowl induction hood is a nice announcement of an upgraded motor (more on that shortly). This pickup does come with great style touches to break up the gloss black, such as the Custom Cab chrome b-pillars that match the door handles, side peep mirror, and alloy wheels. Plus, the rear has a cool touch with a roll-pan and bright red LED taillights integrated nicely. This truck's classic look continues on the inside with a good combo of black and gunmetal gray in the custom interior. Late-model bucket seats provide a much better level of comfort than the original bench ever could, and they look right at home. The driver-oriented setup means your left hand rest perfectly on the Grant three-spoke steering wheel (with power steering), and the right one is taking advantage of the B&M sport shifter. To keep informed of all conditions, there's a full set of AutoMeter gauges complimented by a large Sport-Comp tach with a shift light to help know when to throw it into the next gear. There is a modern AM/FM/CD stereo in the dash, but you'll likely be too busy enjoying the sound from the dual exhaust to ever worry about that. For most trucks a regular big block V8 is more than enough fun, but on a pickup this well built, the 454 motor was bored to a extremely fun 468 cubic inches... and the power upgrade doesn't end there. This V8 has been rebuilt less than 1,800 miles ago with performance components such as a Lunati roller camshaft, an MSD ignition, high-flow air filter, Brodix valve covers, headers, and more. All of this adds up to around an estimated 500 hp pumping out of the engine bay, and it feels like it for sure. The best thing is it fires up effortlessly every time. The roller motor is mated to a freshly built (less than 200 miles ago) and stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission with 2,200 rpm stall. Such a beefy unit is so desirable because it's not only perfect for cruising, but this manual valve body gearbox allows you to shift through the gears on your own when you decide to shift, a very nice upgrade. From there, the power is sent to a Ford nine-inch rear end that's held in place by a four-link rear suspension with coilover shocks. The final step to making sure this Chevy is the king of the street, or the dragstrip, are the massive 33X19.5X15 Mickey Thompson rear tires that are built for superior grip. A nice tonneau cover hides the rear-mounted fuel cell. So this all-black pickup gets plenty of attention in all areas...body, interior, engine, and everyone loves the awesome rumble from the tailpipes. This Chevy was built for one purpose: fun. It has the right look to gather plenty of crowds at a cruise in, and a pile of power to enjoy as you are pulling away from everyone. Be the envy of every muscle car out there with a stout muscle truck. Call today!
