Description

Here is a nice car that was never meant to be a show car. Bought it here on ebay 3 years ago. Since then i have made the following mods to it.* New 355 ci with forged crank and 4 bolt main. Full roller hydraulic cam lifters and rockers, healthy and streetable. Lee sheperd ( Old pro stock racer, R.I.P.) turbo heads, ported with stainless 2.05/1.60 valves. Performer RPM air gap with holley 3310-1, MSD HEI distributor, powdercoated pulleys, stainless headers, 3" flowmaster exhaust all the way back. Approx 425 hp. Didnt dyno but have built this combo several times and made at least that much.
* Wilwood master and adjustable proportioning valve, new lines in front.Wilwood front street brake kit. Spindles/rotors & calipers.* New driveshaft* Tinted windows 35%* Tubular upper & lower front control arms* Stock style seat belts* Urethane body bushings* Stewart warner oil pres and temp gauge. These were only new to car. They are a vintage set.* Wet sand and buff paint. Paint has a lot of shine but bodywork underneath is ok. You can see where they cut corners.* New rear bumper* New yokohama rubber all the way around. Coys 18" wheels.* Belltech lowering springs front and rear.* New steering gear this past winter.
Car had a th350 trans that doesnt leak and shifts smooth. Stock converter. Trans cooler. Original 12 bolt rear end with 3.55 gears, drum brakes.
Previous owner put a new interior and stock appearing radio (no speakers) in the car. I never touched the radio but it does have a 2012 date code on it. I prefer the sound of the car. Speedo was never hooked up. Also put a new windshield and front bumper on. Factory style tach works great.
My intent with this car was to have a reliable car to take my 4 year old son to shows and not worry about it. Had to look and sound cool. Also wanted to autocross it but never got around to it. Car runs cool even on a hot (90 degree) day. Rides like a lowered car with low profile tires, rough but ok. Handles great. I am including a set of hotchkis tubular upper rear control arms that i never installed. Rear window weatherstrip is missing and i cannot find replacements anywhere. Floor pans on pass/driver front were rusty and previous owner glued new ones over the top and dynmatted entire interior. No other areas have any rot. Car spent majority of its life in torrance california. I had it in MN for a few years and now have it in AZ. If you have any questions call or text Matt anytime at 612-987-7054. I would be open to a trade for a 61 or 62 impala/ biscayne as long as its not a show car. If you don't have money, DON'T BID! Thanks for looking.
