1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo:2 door Hardtop
Engine:Numbers Matching 350 CI bored .030 over, rebuilt with mild cam, new pistons, bearings, crankshaft journals polished Engine and transmission has less than 1200 mile since rebuild. Aluminum Intake Manifold with Edelbrock 650 CFM Carburetor. Steel Headers with 3 inch exhaust pipe running all the way back to the Magna Flow mufflers.
Transmission:Turbo 350
Suspension: New ball joints, bushings, springs, tie rods & adjustment sleeves. Car rides like it's on air!
Paint: PPG Brilliant Blue, 3 coats of base, 4 coats of clear. On a scale or 1 to 10, I would rate the paint a 8.5 with a beautiful finish it was done right.
Body: Has no rust and the people who built the car at Street Toyz in Jackson, MI commented when they stripped the car to the bare metal there was no signs of Bondo anywhere on the car. They also mentioned that there was no patchwork and the floor boards looked brand new!
Interior: Everything is new including headliner, carpet, door panels, etc. Interior looks fabulous and I have won numerous awards for best interior at several shows. Dashboard painted to match inserts on the seats. Trunk is completed to match the interior.
Sound System: There are 13 speakers in the car with a 2400 watt amplifier. There are 2 - 3 1/2 inch in the dashboard, 2 - 5 1/4 in the kick panels, 2 - dome tweeters in the kick panels as well. 4 - 6x9 in the rear deck & 3-12 inchsub-woofersin the trunk all tastefully hidden. The sound is amazing definitely the best sound of any Hot Rod I have ever owned!
Wheels: Brand new Lionhart wheels with less than 1200 miles they look brand new! Tires in front are 245/30 ZR 22", the rear are 295/25 ZR 22" in the rear.Rims: Brand newAmerican Racingfive spoke Chrome with no signs of curb rash or any damage what so ever!
Mileage: In researching the mileage currently at 17,065 through DMV it is believed that this is the original mileage however, I have no way of verifying the correct mileage. Street Toyz who built the car also believes this is original mileage once again I can't verify one way or the other.
This is abeautifulcar that has won numerous trophies in the past two years however, it is not a 100 point show car!
