Description

1954 Chevy Two-Ten Sedan Custom - No Reserve

One look at a 1954 Two-Ten Sedan like this, and you can't help but feel taken back in time. After all, driving this vehicle will make you enjoy the open road. This 235 I6 sedan perfectly represents an optimistic time in America.

The custom flat, flamed and two-tone paint is a stand out anywhere you go. There is the perfect amount of patina here that gives it style without giving it an overzealous clear coat finish. It gives this '54 Chevy the kind of presence that radiates whether it's parked in the sunlight of the car show lawn or the street lights of your favorite cruise-in. The chrome bumpers have a mirror-like quality that draw in any onlookers. The bright-work that accents the curvaceous body also looks so pristine that you’ll be asked how it’s been finished. It's all finished off with the proper whitewall tires, new bullet caps and stainless rings on the wheels.

Just like the exterior, the theme was continued on the interior to give the feeling of a time warp. The blanket cloths on the seats gives you the added comfort, and they coordinate nicely with the door panels and headliner. So you'll slip behind the original-style two-spoke wheel and gaze over the pinstriped dashboard that's a perfect piece of art deco.

The 235 I6 engine really needs no introduction, and you'll be quite happy to know that this motor is freshly professionally re-built with all the goods. On the road it provides a wonderful punch and a great soundtrack. The engine bay is nicely detailed. The three-speed manual transmission (three on the tree) shifts easily, and provides good power for getting to the car shows with ease.

Odometer reads 3491 miles - I bought it with 94,000 mi. In 1954 the odometers only went to 99,999 mi. The motor was rebuilt at 1640 mi. Since then, the car has gone to Covington, KY, Louisville, KY, and Detroit, MI for car shows and to cruise-ins all over Cincinnati (1851 mi on rebuild). At the time of the motor rebuild, the front suspension was rebuilt. All new with Fat Man lowering uprights and lowered steering arms to maintain the correct steering geometry. The rear of the car is lowered using leaf-spring blocks and air shocks. Drum brake components are all new. Car comes with Fenton split header (not installed), dual carb intake (not installed), second Rochester carb along with extra miscellaneous parts including door weather stripping. Car has rust in the expected spots for the model and year because it has been driven.

You've got a turnkey American hero ready to be taken home at an affordable price. Hurry, because deals like this don't come around often. Selling to buy a new project (haven’t found it yet).
