Description

This is my hot rod Chevy Suburban, call it 'Burban with Attitude. Vintage 1988, body is in overall excellent shape. Truck has been lowered 4in to give it an excellent stance yet not sacrificedrivability and comfort. The interior, though original, is excellent. Gone through and reliable, so much so that it was on the Hot Rod Power Tour this year and did not miss a beat. Runs around town with no issues, and will cruise all day long at 70-80. Air is cool, heat is hot, power windows work (though the passenger window will work then not...then will). Even has rear heat and air that is working. Rear electric window works. When driving, brakesworks, tracks straight, and has plenty of power. Even has some hot rod rumble with the exhaust. If youdon't want to listen to engine, crank up the tunes withaftermarket CD player and rear Alpine amp and subs will rock.
Miles showing 16K, though not sure if its 116K, 216k? Title is listed as exempt, but does not smoke, miss, leak, so regardless its still a verystrong motor. Fly in and drive it home. Even bring along six more friends as it has three rows of seats! Now, it isnearly thirty years old, so it does have acouple minor issues. Clear coat on the roof and hood iscoming off. There is a dent in the rear tailgate as shown in the pictures. In addition, the rocker panels are needing to be replaced as shown in the pictures. Rust has been treated with POR-15 to keep it from spreading, and I consider it character as long as it will not get worse. Lastly, there are three or four spotsaround the body where you have paint starting to bubble, but all are small, about dime sized.
Love this truck and I've had fun with it this summer. Got new projects, so time for someone else to enjoy. And I'm confident the next owner will enjoy it as its bullet proofreliable and fun to drive and even haul a trailer behind.
