Description
This is a nice looking, comfortable, driver-quality, 1984 Chevrolet El Camino.
It has Cold Air Conditioning, Bucket Seats, and Console Shift Automatic.
The body is straight and clean. It was a California truck.
This truck was built at the GM Arlington Texas Assembly Plant in 1984, and was shipped to California where it lived most of its life up until about 10 years ago when it was shipped to Iowa. I purchased the truck from a gentleman in Iowa who had inherited it from his aunt, the original owner, in California. The Vehicle History Check appears to agree with this, as it shows only 3 owners.
I have used this truck for commuting to work during nice weather, and also for moving items like furniture and gardening tools. I have not used it as a winter vehicle, and the previous owner did not drive it in snow either.
I have receipts for maintenance items like the muffler, alternator, starter, brakes, oil and filters, and air conditioning compressor (charged with 134a refrigerant). Engine is a 305 GM crate engine with approx. 45000 miles on it.
There are wear items such as the carpet and seat upholstery, and the paint shows door dings and scratches. This is neither a show car nor a mint-condition time capsule. It is a nice truck that has been properly used and maintained by adult owners.
I cannot independently verify the actual mileage of the truck, nor do I make any claims or promises about the mileage, however the current odometer reading checks out with ebay's Vehicle History Report. This is what the report came back with:

I was pleased when I purchased this truck and I'm sure the next owner will be as well.
It's a solid, comfortable vehicle and shows that it has been cared for.
The truck has been cleaned and serviced and is ready to roll.
