1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe

Description

I rescued this original low mileage (currently 40k) SS from a barn 8 years ago and have enjoyed it ever since. This is a very rare color combination being black with gold trim. The interior is all original and very clean including locking T-Tops which still work along with original T-Top bag. Since pulling it out of the barn I have had the body completely repainted through a two year process with all factory stripes and decals put back. I have also had the motor replaced with a GM Performance 350ci 290 HP which has LESS then 500 miles on it. We took the time to have all the factory emissions components installed to keep the original look. We have also replaced using genuine GM parts shocks, brakes, door lock actuators, window motors and weather stripping. Exhaust is a new Flowmaster cat-back system. The factory AM/FM Cassette with graphic equalizer has been restored. The Wheels have also been restored and are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle 1 yellow letter tires. The only issues are the title is listed as being reconstructed because PA makes you do this since it was an abandoned vehicle. The Carfax does show an accident in the 90's.
