Description

1954 chevy 4400 truck Very Rare. Inspected and Licensed in MO. driven a lot. The cab and bed are sitting on a 1999 chevy extended frame dually chassiswith Power Brake, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel all came from the 1999, including the foot operated Emergency Brake. The truck was originally built for the TEXICO company and delivered fuel in the surrounding counties. The motor was purchased from a Mud racer and I was told it was a 383 Stroker motor with 30 over pistons and a 400 crank. That is all I know about the motor other than it dynodeat over 400 hp. and runs very strong. the transmission is a rebuilt 700r4 4 speed with custom shifter. NO RUST and Original Paint or Patina.

I have installed a 20 gallonPro fuel cell in the rear to get the tank out of the cab. It has a 12 system wiring harness, and the red lights do work.

The truck was sold to the Lathrop Fire Department, and was used as a tanker for rural fires. When the tank became unrepairabe it was parked, and I purchased it to make a restro mod .

The truck has a clear title was State inspected and is driven as much as possiable, it runs and drives good just had a complete alignment and has good tires.

I am a retired disabled veteran and it is time to build something else to keep busy. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email me .
