If you've ever wanted a classic car to keep up with the newer showroom additions, this is your answer. With the exception of the wheels and brakes, this car appears as a newly restored 1965 Corvette. Further inspection while lifting the hood reveals a late model LS1 motor generously donated from a 2002-2004 Corvette, coupled to a 5-speed Tremec manual transmission. This power plant is mounted to a custom built chassis specifically designed and engineered to mount C4 Corvette suspension and brakes, while accepting the 1965 body at factory mounting places. The two-tone white and black leather interior offers an inviting position to command the 350hp horsepower at the slightest coax of a left foot dab. Other new features include a factory fitting radio with bluetooth and iPod/iPhone hookup as well as an FM radio. The grand exterior styling is a nice offset to the snarl of the period correct side pipes with the power and reliability of an LS motor to back it up. This car is the real deal, and I know it sounds cliche, but seeing and driving it in person would make you agree.
This Corvette also has a DOCUMENTED build booklet with too many pictures to count.
The car is located at the shop that built it in Erie, Pa. Shipping/Delivery negotiable.
