Description

When is a 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS a bargain with an $88k price tag? We can certainly call this value pricing when this fully-built classic has the body of a new car and a 565 hp fortified V8 racing heart. Oh yeah, there was no expense spared turning every inch of this classic coupe into the undisputed king of the streets. This one started out life as a real-deal V8-powered 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS. That's already quite prestigious in many circles considering there were only about 8,200 produced. But you can instantly see that the coupe is something special beyond its rarity. After all, when was the last time you saw a classic Nova that looked this straight? You can perfectly see all the subtle touches like full-length crease in the doors, the aggressive "kick-up" in the rear panel, and even the bulge in the rear fenders. This is the product of replacing nearly every panel in 2014 with brand new steel from Classic Industries. In fact, one of the only places you won't find new metal is the hood, because the huge cowl induction unit is made of lightweight fiberglass. With this kind of investment in body, only a super-slick paintjob will do. The two-tone black and gray both have an excellent clearcoat shine. Not only does it separate in all the right places to show off this Nova's best features, but also there's a bright bold blue & purple pinstripe to make sure you see where these two colors meet. Every piece of chrome appears in pristine condition, from the wide stock bumpers to the tall taillight surrounds. It's all capped off with black and chrome forged wheels that proudly announce their Weld heritage but in a new cool design. If you are looking for the ultimate muscle car, then your search is over.Just like the exterior, the interior is fresh, premium, and dark. The pair of new Scat racing seats are one of the first things you see when you open the door, and they set the mood perfectly. After all, the full Chassis Works roll cage definitely sends the message that this is ready for the racetrack (but still legal enough you can hang a license plate off the bumper!) And in the back, this one is professional enough that the space is consumed by the custom tubbed rear end and more tubliar caging. In fact, the cage even extends to the trunk where it can protect the fuel cell. When you get behind the wheel, the Grant three-spoke unit gives you all the grip you need, and the B&M Bandit shifter falls perfectly to your side. It's not just the full AutoMeter Pro-Comp gauge package that tells you this one is ready to rock, but also the Digital Delay switch panel and all the other professional upgrades send this message to your senses, too. While there have been huge investments getting this Nova looking its best, you're favorite will likely come when you pop the hood. We could go through all of the expensive polished components, or we can just tell you to provide sunglasses to the crowds before showing it off. But beyond the shine is some serious substance. Shafiroff Racing Engine custom built this 427 cubic-inch big block V8. It has been enhanced with Brodix heads, Brodix Pro intake, aluminum radiator w/electric fan, dual Quick Fuel 950 four-barrel carbs, Hooker Super Comp long tube headers, and a whole host of other go-fast upgrades. There are too many to list (call for all the details) but just know that this fortified motor is producing a street-eating 565 horsepower. This is backed up by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission that's stout to handle all the power, and it then sends it to a Strange 9" fabricated rear end running a 4.11 ratio for power take-offs. But don't just read this; take a look at the undercarriage shots. There you will see a pristine car there's on 50 miles on the whole build. Plus, you'll recognize upgrades like the fully-built independent front end with tubular A-arms, the fortified coilover rear end, and the full Wilwood four-wheel disc brake system. Plus, those massive 31x18.50 Mickey Thompson tires keep it all hooking up with the pavement. There's an amazing the amount of time, money, and effort that went into this built, and we even have the receipts to prove it. This Nova is a one-of-a kind, so if you miss it, there won't be another. Call today!!!
